As a Development Engineer - Java Backend you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering solutions within the Lending domain. Your proactive attitude and ability to take initiatives will be essential as you work in an Agile/DevOps environment, collaborating closely with your team to complete backlog items and support ongoing projects. With your technical expertise in Java, SpringBoot, SQL, Rest APIs, Kafka, and other relevant technologies, you will contribute to the development of robust and efficient applications. Additionally, your customer-focused mindset and attention to detail will ensure that solutions meet the highest standards of performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deliver solutions within the Lending domain, strictly adhering to business specifications and standards.
Provide autonomous support for backlog items assigned to your team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Collaborate with the team on the maintenance of the payment engine, including control rules and payment message handling.
Write and execute automated tests, including unit tests, functional/non-functional tests, and integration tests.
Resolve incidents related to payment applications and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Actively participate in Agile development events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve your technical expertise and functional knowledge to stay abreast of the latest trends and technical evolutions.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Java, SpringBoot, SpringBatch, SQL, Rest APIs, and Kafka.
Experience with Document Management System and Jasper Reports is appreciated.
Strong IT security skills, including SSL/TLS, certificate management, password vault, and encryption.
Familiarity with IntelliJ, VSCode, Oracle database, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
Experience with Git, Maven, Azure DevOps, and continuous delivery pipelines.
Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Prometheus, and Kibana is considered an asset.
Familiarity with Java 11 and 21, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related field.
Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment organized in Tribes & Squads.
Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, and delivering software solutions.
Strong ability to create user stories from business requirements.
Excellent team spirit, adaptability, and ability to anticipate challenges.
